OUR STORY
Welcome to our site!
We moved here over 11 years ago and registered as a smallholding. With 4 beautiful acres to care for, it’s been quite a journey—and the best way to see what we’ve been up to over the years is to visit our X account: @smallholderadve.
We absolutely love living here, and we created this little space to share the experience with you. You can choose to stay in Chestnut Lodge, or in one of our cosy bell tents, Elm or Acorn. Our aim is not to spoil the ambience of the smallholding which is why we have minimum numbers staying.

Damson Cottage Retreat
We have fire wood to purchase on site, bike hire and can provide all your breakfast goodies from our small shop. Showers and toilets are on site and if you book a cold water experience you will have access to the swimming pool, sauna and plunge pool.

The cold water experience was amazing, we had the area to ourselves, I particularly liked the ice bath and then running into the sauna!
We cycled into Ellesmere, it was a lovely ride it's such a beautiful part of the country, riding down quiet lanes, along the canal and into Ellesmere to Cremorne Gardens and the Mere - Stunning
